Camp Na'aleh
|
Year-Round Activities Each Habonim Dror camp supports a local chapter, known as a ken (literally, "nest" in Hebrew). Kenim (the plural of ken in Hebrew) offer a variety of social and educational activities during the school year. This is a great way for campers to continue their friendship after camp. Na'aleh campers come from the tri-state area and New England. Currently Ken Na'aleh offers activities in and around New York City, serving the tri-state area. Ken Chowda ("Chowda" is not Hebrew, but Boston-ese for a nice fish soup) is centered in Boston and serves the upper New England region. Activities for both kenim are generally held on Sunday afternoons to accommodate those near and far but check on details for actual times. If you live outside of New York City and want to host a ken activity or meet-and-greet to introduce Camp Na'aleh to friends and neighbors, please contact our executive director. For future events, check out our Facebook site (link on left).
